Droit Au Bus Demolishes FC Calypige in a Five-Star Masterclass
What a spectacular display of absolute dominance at the pitch today! Droit Au Bus turned the stadium into their personal playground, leaving FC Calypige chasing shadows for ninety minutes. While the scoreboard eventually read a crushing 5-0, it could have been far worse had Droit Au Bus not fumbled a penalty in the 31st minute. It was a hilarious start for the favorites, who seemed determined to make the game interesting for the sake of drama before finally finding their rhythm with a goal in the 43rd minute. ⚽
The second half was nothing short of a tactical nightmare for FC Calypige. With only one measly shot on target the entire match, their strategy seemed to consist entirely of committing fouls—seven in total—and praying for the final whistle. The referee eventually lost patience, brandishing two yellow cards at the desperate FC Calypige squad, who looked like they were playing a different sport altogether. Meanwhile, Droit Au Bus kept the pressure high, peppering the goal with 8 shots on target and showing zero mercy as the clock wound down.
The final ten minutes were truly the cherry on top of this lopsided cake. Droit Au Bus converted a penalty in the 85th minute to pour salt in the wound, followed by a clinical finish in the 91st minute to seal the 5-0 humiliation. FC Calypige managed a lonely shot on target at the 87th minute, but it was far too little and far too late. It was a brutal reminder that if you aren't going to play the ball, you’re just going to end up catching a bus home—and today, it was definitely a one-way ticket to defeat. 🚌
