The Rodez AF squad decided that defense was merely a suggestion today, opting instead to treat the pitch like a firing range against a hapless Beleriand side. After a polite warm-up, the deadlock finally shattered in the 34th minute with a clinical free-kick from Rodez AF. From there, the floodgates didn't just open; they were ripped off their hinges as Rodez AF piled on the pressure with 8 shots on target, leaving the Beleriand goalkeeper looking like he was trying to catch flies with chopsticks. ⚽

The middle of the second half saw a brief, desperate pulse from Beleriand. After Rodez AF rattled off three quick goals, the visitors managed to claw back a bit of dignity via a 62nd-minute penalty and a 74th-minute goal.
