Westeros FC Transforms AS Niort into a Medieval Meat Grinder in 5-1 Rout
It was less of a football match and more of a public execution as Westeros FC dismantled AS Niort with a ruthless 5-1 scoreline. While the visitors spent the majority of their afternoon playing "kick the player" instead of actual football—racking up a pathetic 6 fouls and a solitary shot on target—the home side played with the precision of a dragon’s breath. By the 20th minute, the ice had been broken, and it was clear that AS Niort was simply waiting for the final whistle to escape the carnage. 🐉
The second half turned into a highlight reel for Westeros FC. Between a clinical goal in the 46th minute and a gorgeous free-kick masterclass at the 50th, the AS Niort defense looked like they were trying to defend against ghosts. Even when Westeros FC missed a couple of free-kicks, they simply shrugged it off and kept hammering away. It was a masterclass in offensive dominance, featuring 8 shots on target compared to the lone, desperate attempt from the visitors.
To their credit, AS Niort managed a consolation goal in the 82nd minute, likely because the Westeros FC defenders were busy checking their watches or daydreaming about the post-match celebrations. That flicker of hope was immediately extinguished just four minutes later, as the home side hammered in their fifth goal to put the final nail in the coffin. AS Niort leaves the pitch with nothing but bruised shins and a damaged ego, while Westeros FC remains the undisputed king of the pitch. 👑
