Massacre on the Pitch: Hdv57 Turns AS Niort into a Training Cone Collection
What we witnessed today wasn’t a football match; it was a clinical dismantling of a team that clearly forgot to bring their boots, their tactics, and perhaps their will to live. Hdv57 treated the pitch like a private playground, starting their masterclass as early as the 5th minute with a sublime free-kick that left the AS Niort keeper looking like a statue in a park. By the 17th minute, the lead was doubled, and it became painfully obvious that the only thing AS Niort was capable of doing was committing fouls, earning them a well-deserved yellow card by the 20th minute for their desperate, flailing attempts to stop the inevitable. ⚽
The statistics are frankly embarrassing for AS Niort. While Hdv57 rained down 9 shots on target and toyed with their opponents at will, AS Niort finished with exactly zero shots—not a single one! It’s hard to score when you spend the entire afternoon chasing shadows and hacking at ankles. The Hdv57 juggernaut simply refused to take their foot off the gas, adding two more goals in the 60th and 65th minutes to seal a demoralizing 4-0 victory that felt more like a mercy killing than a competitive sporting event.
As the final whistle blew, the AS Niort players looked like they were ready to retire on the spot, while Hdv57 walked off the field without breaking a sweat. It was a total annihilation, a systematic breakdown of a side that seemed more interested in collecting fouls than finding the back of the net. If this was a championship performance, Hdv57 has officially declared that they are playing a different sport entirely while AS Niort is still trying to figure out which way the goal is facing. Simply pathetic from the visitors, and pure dominance from the masters of the game. 🤡
