THE DAY THE FIREFIGHTERS FORGOT TO BRING THE WATER
It was supposed to be a clash of titans, but what we witnessed on the pitch was more of an emergency evacuation. The POMPIER TEAM arrived with all the enthusiasm of a wet matchbox, only to be completely incinerated by the relentless offensive machinery of Westeros FC. With a humiliating 1-7 scoreline, the POMPIER TEAM defense looked less like a tactical unit and more like a group of tourists wandering into a dragon’s den. By the third minute, the scoreboard was already ticking, and quite frankly, the firefighters looked like they needed their own rescue team to stop the bleeding. 🚒
While Westeros FC put on a clinic with 8 shots on target, POMPIER TEAM managed a measly 2 shots on goal, one of which—miraculously—actually found the net in the 25th minute. It was a brief moment of hope that felt more like a cruel joke. The rest of the match was a relentless parade of goals for Westeros FC, who tore through the opposition's lines with the precision of a master tactician. By the time the 59th-minute corner kick hit the back of the net, the match had devolved into a full-blown spectator sport for the visitors.
As the clock ticked down, the frustration of POMPIER TEAM became palpable, culminating in a clumsy foul and a yellow card in the 86th minute—the only real "fire" they managed to show all afternoon. With only two fouls committed and a lack of any real bite, the POMPIER TEAM players seemed to be just waiting for the final whistle to escape the humiliation. Westeros FC dominated every inch of the grass, leaving their opponents to wonder if they should trade their cleats for actual fire hoses next season. A complete disaster, and honestly, a joy to watch for anyone who loves a total collapse. 🤡
