THE TOTAL ANNIHILATION: FC RUMES-LG TURNS THE PITCH INTO A TRAINING GROUND
What we witnessed today was not a football match; it was a public service announcement regarding the importance of actually showing up to play. FC Rumes-LG dismantled Gaz elec 86 with such clinical indifference that one might have mistaken the opposition for a collection of training cones. While the scoreboard read a merciless 4-0, it honestly flattered Gaz elec 86, who managed the impressive, record-breaking feat of registering zero shots—on or off target—for the entire ninety minutes. They were effectively ghosts haunting the pitch, leaving FC Rumes-LG to spend their afternoon practicing their aim for nearly two hours. ⚽
The misery began in the 20th minute when a penalty was conceded by Gaz elec 86, offering FC Rumes-LG the first of four gifts. From that point on, it was a shooting gallery. Despite FC Rumes-LG fluffing their lines with eight wayward shots, they remained relentlessly dominant. By the 33rd minute, the lead was doubled, and the game was already well beyond the reach of the visitors. The only thing Gaz elec 86 managed to contribute to the match were two measly fouls, proving that even their attempts to play dirty were as toothless as their attack.
As the clock ticked down, FC Rumes-LG continued to toy with their prey, adding two more goals in the 73rd and 87th minutes—the latter coming from a corner that served as the final nail in the coffin. It is hard to describe the absolute lack of resistance from Gaz elec 86 without laughing; they seemed more interested in the grass quality than the scoreline. Meanwhile, FC Rumes-LG walks away with a clean sheet and a confidence boost, while the visitors should probably consider switching their profession to something less competitive, like watching paint dry. 🤡
